Dental health is important because Periodontal disease can be very uncomfortable and may affect activity level, eating, and quality of life. Plaque and tartar continuously build up on your pet's teeth. Bacteria lives and multiplies in the plaque layer and will invade the gums. This bacteria can spread to the blood stream and infect other organs - heart, kidneys.
If dental cleanings are performed regularly:
- teeth are less likely to be extracted
- improve animal's breath
